Wow, more good news for the day. It's making me a bit light headed!

We have recently come to hear of the opening of a new Dorje Shugden monastery in Tao Yuan, Taipei, Taiwan, opened under the spiritual guidance of H.E. the 13th Kyabje Daknak Rinpoche, the Guru of Gadenpa Buddhism Center.
Daknak Genden Lhundup Ling was opened in October 2012 and is known to be an institution that practices all the teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa, combined with Dorje Shugden. This monastery includes a very special Gyenze wealth vase and focuses on the Protector practice of Trakze* in particular.
Daknak Rinpoche himself is said to be an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha and Protector Setrap. He is also very well known as a Dorje Shugden lama and highly accomplished scholar. He received his monastic education from Sera Jey Monastery, obtained his Geshe Lharampa and Geshe Ngarampa degrees and then proceeded for further study at Gyumed Tantric College. Daknak Rinpoche has studied under the most eminent masters such as H.E. Dagom Rinpoche, Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, H.E. Zemey Rinpoche and Lama Jampa Ngodup Rinpoche, all celebrated as prominent Dorje Shugden teachers.
We rejoice to hear that such an accomplished master has now opened his own monastery in Taiwan, a country where Buddhist practice is still so strong. We are very happy to share these wonderful photos of the monastery opening below for all to rejoice in.

Wow, amazing! I didint know that Daknak Rinpoche is an emanation of Setrap and Amithaba, as we all know the Chinese have a very strong affinity towards Amithaba as a result of the pureland school that was established by the Chinese where everyone is encouraged to create an affinity with Amithaba so that they can ascend to his pureland at the time of their passing. And now Daknak Rinpoche will lead them to a protector that can help them in a more faster and practical way which everyone I believe, especially during these kaliyuga times, on eliminating suffering and achieving the ultimate goal. I really rejoice for Taiwan as they are having more and more temples that will bring them to Dorje Shugden and they will be a very spiritual country in the near future.

Wow! This is incredible news. It's amazing to hear about all these Dorje Shugden lamas are dotting the world over with temples, monasteries and institutions that are dedicated to the study and practice of the Dharma including Dorje Shugden. I think this is a good sign and a sure sign that this will foster the growth of the Dharma in the coming millennium.
Although Dorje Shugden arose to specifically protect Lama Tsongkhapa's lineage and practice but he is slated to ascend to be the chief of all Dharma Protectors. There already seems to be a prophecy from before the fall of Tibet and I also connect what the previous Karmapa was said to have mentioned about Dorje Shugden. So, that means the ban is not lifted on just a Protector of the Gelugs. Dorje Shugden will ascend higher to become a powerful protector of our time.

The good news about Dorje Shugden spreading and growing in all parts of the world continue to roll in. How wonderful for Taiwan to have a new DS monastery and the special Gyenze wealth vase will surely attract the business minded Taiwanese people. Looking at recent news it is clear that the Protector practice is growing fast and in so many different languages. It is being universally embraced and I rejoice for the nations of people who now have the great karma to have Dorje Shugden in their midst. This shows how misleading the CTA has been when they claimed that Dorje Shugden is a spirit worship practiced by a small community of Tibetans.
For all the ban on the practice, the pujas to exorcise this "spirit" and all the death threats and intimation thrown at Shugden practitioners, Dorje Shugden's blessing continue to grow. Does this not say something about the fact that Dorje Shugden is an enlightened being, and truly an emanation of the Wisdom Buddha, Manjushri? What other explanation can there be?

Such a joyful news to hear a new monastery has just opened in Taiwan, and especially when it's a Dorje Shugden monastery!
Lately I have just discovered that Taiwan is another Tibetan Buddhist hub where Tibetan Buddhism is flourishing! Especially the ones that practices Dorje Shugden. I am very very happy to hear that HE Daknak Rinpoche has opened a monastery in Taiwan for many people to benefit from DS practice.
Looking at how wide spread DS lamas is throughout the world... I must say that DS lamas are the key in bringing Buddhism to countless of beings. May HE Daknak Rinpoche soon have more and more monasteries mapped around the world just like Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Rejoice.
I have not heard of any monastery that specially practices Trakze, this is my first time knowing about one. Does anyone know another monastery that does specifically Trakze's practice?

Since Trakze's practice is especially efficacious for overcoming powerful delusions and very negative, harmful energies, i imagine that Taiwan needs such a powerful protector to overcome large obstacles. I am sure the Gyenze vase placed by the 13th Kyabje Daknak Rinpoche at the new Dorje Shugden temple Daknak Genden Lhundup Ling will bring a much needed increase of resources to the area. This will make Dorje Shugden an attractive practice to the Taiwanese also while they struggle through difficult times. May Dorje Shugden bless Taiwan and the Dharma works of Daknak Rinpoche grow in the country and region.

I have been very, very fortunate to have been able to meet Dagom Rinpoche while he was still alive in Nepal. It was a completely chance meeting, at a time when I didn't even really know how great a master he was. Some friends took me to see him. What a radiant, beautiful Lama and his center in Nepal is just filled with the blessings of lifetimes of practice - you feel it the moment you walk into in.
I'm so happy to hear that the works of his brother Daknak Rinpoche are flourishing. This new monastery in Taiwan is magnificent. The photos are brilliant, though I'm sure they still won't do justice to the actual monastery. How lucky the people in Taiwan are to have Daknak Rinpoche there and to have such a beautiful place for practice. It's encouraging to know that while Dagom Rinpoche spread Dharma so strongly in the west and established such beautiful centers like the DGTL (http://www.dgtlmonastery.org/ (http://www.dgtlmonastery.org/)), and now his brother (who looks just like him! they are like emanations of each other!) is creating the same in the East.
The people of Taiwan are very lucky to have so much exposure to these great lamas and such huge, impressive places of worship. The support, sponsorship and faith is incredible there. I hope it continues to spread to other parts of Asia, and to all the 1 billion people of their neighbour China especially!
Thank you to the people of this website for always finding such wonderful news. It is heartening to hear that far from suppressing the practice of our lineage, it continues to grow and grow and in such beautiful places!

This is truly exciting and great news! Dorje Shugden practice is becoming more prominent. Lift the Ban! lift the Ban! So that more and more people who need Dorje Shugden helps have chances to know him and get the helps.
During the opening, not only we can see the Tibetan "style" lama, as well as other sect monks came to the opening. Truly harmonious.
May the monastery of Dorje Shugden able to open more throughout the world.

Good good news! 2 years back I visited Nepal and through a friend I got to visit Dagom Ladrang. I was like wow..what did I do to be able to visit such a holy place? Although at that time Dagom Rinpoche was no longer around, I still felt it was a blessing to that I got to visit the Ladrang. It was in Dagom Ladrang that I first saw Daknak Rinpoche's picture on a throne. I was like..who's that..He looks really like Dagom Rinpoche! I remember a monk there who told me very confidently that He is Amitabha and Setrab..I was dumbfounded...from then on whenever I read about Daknak Rinpoche I get very excited!
I am very happy to know that Daknak Rinpoche has now started a new Monastery...I am happy for him and also not forgetting the growth of Dharma through Dorje Shugden's lineage!!! Off I go to look at the beautiful photos!
ps/ does anyone know if Dagom Rinpoche's incarnation is back?

You should have more articles and forum discussions like this which are positive and celebrate the good things. You see, it is entirely possible to talk about your practice and give each other encouragement in a positive way without bringing in all the politics, the ban and the Tibetan government who you are not even affiliated to in any way.
I really don't see the need to always bring in the subject of the ban just to make a point. It's already very clear you have a lot of devotion to your practice. The fact that you have set up a whole website makes this very clear. You don't also need to keep trying to prove yourself. Focus on the positive and provide real encouragement. You don't have to keep bringing up the Tibetans and their internal issues and politics to make this point.
Don't get me wrong. I respect your efforts. I just think you need to be more positive and less concerned about the politics.

I know many people like you who thoroughly dislike the controversy and the political implications thereof and are in fact put off the Dorje Shugden practice completely because they do not understand or want to understand the undercurrents and multiple facets surrounding the issues. So i very much empathise with you. However, it is because of this very lack of knowledge that this website strives, and succeeds, in countering by providing information to those who ARE interested, and who would like to take the time to read and understand the issues involved.
I presume you are living in a country which is has religious freedom. So do I. However, even on social media, like my personal Facebook, i get constant criticism and private messages of hate for my practice. Without the information i have learned on dorjeshugden.com i would not know how to counter these allegations and accusations. And sometimes when my critic says ok i never saw it that way, i think Eureka!
Then ban affects everyone. it affects the Tibetans in the Tibetan refugee settlements, it affects people like me. Only when the ban is lifted, will people be able to practice freely without fear or favor. Therefore, i do hope that you realise that it IS important for all of us to know what is going on with regard to the ban. Knowledge is power.

What an exciting news to share about Dorje Shugden practice being able to be in the limelight again! Dorje Shugden is becoming more and more popular now and be able to help more people who need Him the most in this degenerated times!
Looking at this monastery gives me fantastic feeling thinking of the people going to be benefited from this. I rejoice for the sponsors and people who helped to build this monastery and one can imagine the amount of merits obtained from this. That does not count more when one have to endure so much difficulty and obstacles to build this monastery!
May more of such monasteries of Dorje Shugden open to the world far and wide!

One of the main reason why is the practice of Dorje Shugden spreading so fast in China and the world is, i believe is through the banned. Human nature are very predictable, the more you do not allow someone to do what he or she wants to, the more that particular person will do it. Whether it is bad or good actions, i always believe HHTDL is creating or plotting this by using this simple yet effective strategy in order to bring the practice to China and the world. Hopefully more and more Dorje Shugden Monastery like this will be build around the world in the near future.

Thank you Beggar! Very good news indeed! Another beautiful Dorje Shugden monastery! Love the vibrant colors of the monastery! The Taiwanese are indeed Blessed to have the King. It will be very soon before more monasteries appear and creat the cause for the ban to be lifted! I like the picture whereby there were Mahayana Sanghas joining in this meritorious event!
I should get my friends in Taiwan to visit, make offerings and invite a Gyenze wealth vase! It'll be really good for them! As for me, this is where I got mine!

I'm really not that surprised that the Taiwanese are not really that 'into' the Dorje Shugden ban, as asian societies tend to be more forgiving and more 'private' -- they do not care about other people's practices, they are more concerned with their own practice than trying to govern the practices of others or less obsessed with trying to demonize others. That is probably why Dorje Shugden can grow there so easily as compared to the west. In any case, all of these are a good sign that Dorje Shugden is growing and He will never stop growing no matter what the circumstances is. CTA and Dharamsala is but a small dot on the map of the world. Dorje Shugden can always go elsewhere if the CTA does not appreciate him coz the world does not revolve around CTA and Dharamsala.

This is indeed great news! Such good news of more monasteries dedicated to Dorje Shugden being opened, more Dorje Shugden initiations being openly conferred upon many people by high lamas including Choktrul Trijang Rinpoche, and more people speaking up for the right of Dorje Shugden practitioners on this forum are now being heard globally. All these will bring the ban down.
May Kyabje Daknak Dorje Chang live long and continue to propagate the dharma and practice of Je Rinpoche and Dorje Shugden.

the ban cannot be held any longer as now another institution that supports Dorje Shugden comes up to herald the victory of Dorje Shugden against the ban. I mean, the Dalai Lama is banning something that cannot be banned or suppressed, so the only reason why he is "banning" Dorje Shugden is to promote him via reverse psychology as people of this day and age are more receptive towards negativity than positive things. Also, it would be very odd for the Dalai Lama to promote a Gelug protector (although in reality he is not, but to commoners he is) it would hurt the sentiments of the other traditions, so the Dalai Lama had to "ban" Dorje Shugden in order to promote him.

Wow. What a wonderful news. I rejoice in this. It is an increasing trend to see and hear more and more of Dorje Shugden Monasteries and Chapels opening all around the world. More and more are practicing openly in defiance of the ban and the CTA.
This I hope and pray will lead to more people in India and Tibet itself to openly practice and one day to break the ban similar to the coming down of the Berlin Wall ie via popular demand. Sort of a revolution.
Hence, we need to continue to support the practice via forums like this and the social media like Facebook and also encourage others to take up the practice openly. We need to create the cause and the need for the HHDL to lift the ban ie by popular demand.

The ban has an effect on Buddhists worldwide, but I do find that a lot of people these days are very afraid that they would have joined a cult, and it is somewhat a sign of self grasping, but its okay because nobody can walk into Buddhism and say that they practice Buddhism for the sake of all sentient beings and not for their own benefit. And these people seem to be very afraid of Dorje Shugden. But it is also through this ban that we can see many interesting things happening to the Buddhist community around the world, but the most action is the ones in Dharamsala. People from other Buddhist traditions also have commented on this issue and they have concluded that people should just ignore it completely and focus on the teachings (which is the logical thing to do). In any case, the ban has a huge impact on Buddhists around the world, and that is a fact.

I rejoice at this wonderful news! It brings joy to my heart and an elated sense of lightness knowing that even in view of the ban, Dorje Shugden practice is spreading far and wide and fast gaining roots in the ten directions. Makes me wonder if the ban is really a "positive" catalyst after all!!!
As much as the ban does cause suffering it seems to me more like collateral damage. No offence but there is always the bigger picture!

Wow this is incredible news! This Dorje Shugden monastery is magnificent and the Gyenze Wealth Vase will attract and increase the economics of Taiwan. The Taiwanese are very lucky to have such a magnificent place for worshiping and I hope that Dorje Shugen continues to flourish in other parts of Asia especially China that has a high population.
May H.E. Daknak Rinpoche live long and his works flourish. May there be more Dorje Shugden monasteries open though out the world!

If you guys have a quick look at the Facebook post on this, youll see its got 11,000 over likes for the moment. Clearly theres interest in new monastery openings and whatever the CTA want to tell us, there is interest in a DORJE SHUGDEN monastery opening so it is NOT a minority practice.

Wow! This is amazing and a very nice monastery. I personally are quite amazed that in the recent years if we put our counts together, there have been many Dorje Shugden monastery opened in various part of asia. And we also heard that in parts of Europe and America eventhough is greatly dominant by the presence of His Holiness, the work of Dorje Shugden has spread through these country. Just like all these great Shugden Lamas, Gangchen Rinpoche, Trijang Rinpoche and Zong Rinpoche to be begin with. His Holiness has put Tibetan Buddhism on the global map, now it's time for the ministers to mark the presence of the protector in time to come.

This Daknak Genden Lhundup Ling monastery is so beautiful! I hope I have the chance to visit it one day.

Great news. Another Dorje Shugden monastery opens, sending a message to the whole world that Dorje Shugden's time has come. Hopefully this will put a stop to claims by the CTA that DS is a minority spirit practice. What more, there is not much the CTA can do about this as this monastery is situated in Taiwan. From the picture, the monastery is so regal and beautiful. Rejoice for the people in this area to have the freedom to practice the religion of their choice. What great merits they have to be able to pray and make offerings in such a beautiful temple. May many more great Dorje Shugden monasteries materialize to spread the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa and guide many in their spiritual path. Also, may H.E Daknak Rinpoche and many other high lamas live long to turn the wheel of dharma.

It is indeed very encouraging to know that there is yet another Dorje Shugden monastery opening, showing that Dorje Shugden practice is going on very strong and that he is alive. Why else would Dorje Shugden masters be able to open monasteries everywhere and are able to do Dharma work which spreads far and wide? I heard that Kyabje Daknak Rinpoche is the brother of Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche, and yes he does look very grand, like how the previous Pabongkha Rinpoche looked. I am sure that he manifests such an appearance to show people the success of his Dharma works and also to attract certain types of people.

It's great to know that there are more Dorje Shudgen Monasteries being opened up, this proves that Lord Dorje Shugden's sacred practise is being widely practised although there's a ban. I pray that may the ban of Dorje Shudgen be lifted very quickly so that everyone has the freedom of religion, and they can practise Dorje Shugden openly without having to afraid getting beaten up or discriminated in this case.

With so much turmoil against Shugdenpas, it is encouraging and heart warming to know that Dorje Shugden cannot be stopped. Because of Dorje Shugden's love and care, He is purifying the negativities of His devotees so that when His time comes, Shugdenpas will enjoy great bliss in their practice.
May the propagation of this great Protector grow extensively in ten directions. May the ban lifted so that there is not obstacles to sentient beings benefitting from Dorje Shugden's love and compassion.
May the Doctrine of Je Tsongkapa spread in all directions.

Really wonderful to see more Dorje Shugden monasteries mushrooming around the region. This monastery will definitely offer visitors an insight to Dorje Shugden’s value and benefit . Hence it will provide a platform for future practitioners and I pray for the lifting up of the ban so that there will be absolute freedom for all to practise without undergoing any further suffering, pain and discrimination.
