The purpose of this new website is to highlight the education programs here at Shar Gaden.
Much new content will be added soon. I had the honor of helping with the first video on the education page. If you watch the video you will see the various educational programs in action. Many in the West think that all the monks do in monasteries is pray and meditate. This website will show the other side of monastic life.

Hi Tenzin Sungrab,
Thanks for the update. I checked on the website but it doesn't say where and when the tour will be held. Is it because the dates etc are not set yet or are they keeping it mum so that there are no disturbances during their tour? Just curious.

Right now the Shar Gaden World Peace Tour is in Italy. The tour has no long-term set itinerary. They travel where they are invited. The monks will be going on a tour of USA soon. The USA tour is still being arranged.
There are 3 of us here at the monastery who will continue to add content. Today I am working to correct some of the grammar mistakes.
We are also adding content to the calander and the prayers and pujas page.

Today we added a few pictures of monks who are part of the sponsorship program. More photos will be added soon. Many of these monks come from very poor villages and have no financial support from their families. Shar Gaden provides all of the needs for these monks and are looking for friends to help keep this going.

This is truly great news that a wonderful centre is opened within the Dorje Shugden lineage. The more the better. I am so glad to hear about this. I hope a great Tulku or Geshe visits this centre to make it flourish. Locals would not be able to do this without an actual Tibetan Teacher at this time. Perhaps in the future. In any case, something to rejoice about. :)
