I would like to know what's happening! haha
And who were they welcoming in the end?

This does my heart good.  These monks are like brave outcasts, similar to the untouchables of the Hindu caste system.  I wonder if our faith was challenged in this way, would we be brave enough to become outcasts in order to maintain our spiritual commitments and practice our heartfelt beliefs?

Does anyone know if it's possible to donate money to the monastery?  I couldn't give much but I'd like to give some kind of regular donation to support them in their practice.

Or like the first christian martyrs who were thrown in the arena to be devoured by ferocious wild beasts by roman emperors.

In any case, they are going to reap the fruits of their efforts. Unlike people like me who are talking about resistance with one hand on the keyboard and the other in the bag of chips............. :(
