Dear friends, Due to many requests we are considering to have online sales available here on this website. It is just in talking stages and we may not even do it.
We have been having many requests for hard copy of Dorje Shugden comics, thangkas, statues, and pictures. Our website committee is considering an online sales system and mail ordered items across the world. We have never done this before and we are not profit based. So we will have to investigate into:
1. Acquiring further staff.
2. Warehouse or space to store items.
3. A location to be the base in which we send items out. What country do we wish to send out from.
4. Profit margin to cover rental, purchase/developing/storage of stock. Also to pay artisans for their work.
5. Packing, distribution and mailing.
6. Adding a website portal of shopping cart to this website for payment, paypal, etc.
Our website here has been for the dissemination of information on the lineage, practice and information of Dorje Shugden and related. Perhaps it's time to have Dorje Shugden items available. We will let everyone know further details as they develop.

I would support. This I am sure is something people definitely are crying out for. Imagine being a secret practitioner unable to get hold of a statue, thangka, not even a pendant.
Great idea and a huge gap in the demand and supply market.
Sorry to sound commercial yet I can't imagine how much it costs to keep this site available to the masses.

This is a very good idea! I believe many people will support this initiative and they won't mind paying because all funds will go back to support this website as well as spreading of Dorje Shugden worldwide.
But of course everything has to be planned out well so that it will be operated smoothly. This is a great idea indeed! Maybe because of this initiative more creative products to spread Dorje Shugden will be created.

This is a great idea! It is not easy to find DS related materials, if the practitioners can get the items needed here, how nice would that be! I want to invite DS statues home but not able to find one. I am really jealous of people who actually own one.. hahaha.. ;D
Besides, dorjeshugden.com have been so kind to bring the truth about DS to the world without asking for donation, if this online store materialised, they will be able to raise more fund to spread DS even further and bigger! I rejoice!
Let's pray and work harder towards the lifting of the ban so that more people can benefit. I absolutely love DS.

That will be fantastic. It is already so RARE to find Shugden items in Nepal & India so by having this online store will be marvelous.
Another thing to consider is to put up an ONLINE DONATION for this website. I've been inspired by this website and I am not able to do much but I definitely would like to sponsor Shugden activities through this website.

An online store would be fantastic and a dream come true! I would love to have a Dorje Shugden pendant and a statue for my little altar. Please do seriously consider this and make Dorje Shugden available to people like me who have no access to these items. Previously i had thought that i could only get these if i travelled to India or Nepal (or Thailand after I saw the pics in the forum!) but if there's an online store here, that would be bliss! I don't think it's commercial at all, after all, the items have costs involved in their production and i am sure there are costs to run the online store too. I shop online all the time and at least if i shop here, i am contributing to a good cause as well as receiving items which help my Dharma practice!

Opening an online shop is definitely a great idea. I will definitely support it. Also I am sure a lot of Dorje Shugden practitioners will buy from this site because it is difficult to get this items form anywhere else.
And I think people would also like to contribute financially to this website but not available. This online shop could be an avenue for people to contribute!

An online shop would have a far reach to many people around the globe and makes it easier for people to spread Dorje Shugden. The products are really high quality and many hours and much efforts have been spent on the development of such items. I think definitely worth a try to give it a go as the products are really in hot demand as shown in Thailand which happens to be Buddhist as well. TGIE would look like dinosaurs with their archaic ban.

What are we waiting for? I wouldn't have the faintest clue of where to get myself a statue in the U.S. Even worse if I were to travel to the countries with the ban. By keeping everyone's identity confidential, we all win!

These are quite a number of things to consider... the DS.com administrators are incredible and very, very compassionate for offering this new "service".
I think it's a brilliant idea! Whenever I take a look at some of the photos posted by DS.com, I see a lot of items that can't be bought any where and are unique to this site e.g. pendants.
I, for one, would love to have a pendant to give my friends and family. I see that there are pendants with different languages like Chinese and Thai on the backings as well, what a great gift for my foreign friends!
I'm going to post this thread onto my Facebook and see what the response is :)

Wonderful idea. I really like the team who is behind all this. Always come out with brilliant ideas to serve others better. It is very hard to even see anything Shugden in my country, it would be utmost beneficial for us practitioners to be able to get access to "physical" material of our precious protector.
The team behind this already given us so much from free comic download, brochures to valuable information etc... The only we can support you guys is to spread the lineage far and wide and do whatever we can to promote this website! Now with an e-shop coming soon, it will be a very good idea for the sales to support the funds of running this website. I really appreciate your effort in doing this.

Great Idea!! It is so hard to find items related to Shugden either statue, tsa tsa or Thangka. When i travelled to Nepal, when I mentioned Shugden, immediately they said no and did not want to talk more, very hard to find statue maker to specially make a Shugden statue too.
The online sales will help so many people who wish to take Shugden practice seriously, set up nice altar with offering or give to friend as a gift.
It is very compassionate of DS.com for coming out the idea of setting up online selling and to source for the correct images and other Shugden material and ready for everyone. Can't wait for it.

Yes I would definitely support this 100% Finding a free place to learn and support DS practice and talk with other like minded persons was great, now to consider being able to invite DS holy images and statues that would be wonderful.

If this comic online, i am the first person will ask my friend online to get one! I like this comic! Its story is very real and lifestyle. You will feel so close with an enlighten being after you finish it. Nice comic. Sincerely thank you for people who put afford on this comic, make it in the bookstore.

Fabulous! This is what I call a natural and much needed progression... This would be a wonderful vehicle for all Dorje Shugden practitioners around the world to have much needed access to Dorje Shugden related items which unfortunately are not easily available!

I am a practitioner of Dorje Shugden and the images of this protector is provided to me by my kind lama. My Lama painstakingly makes these items available for me and my fellow brothers and sisters in the Dharma available so that we can all practice.
However with time I think Lama is gonna run out of things to give away for people to practice. I thought it would be a splendid idea for an online shop available so I can purchase these holy images and make offerings to my Lama with them.

Yes, it would certainly be a great way for many people to obtain these holy items to make offerings to their lamas, for personal practice, and for friends.
I've received email from a few people that they have started to print the comic books on their own and spiral bound them to give to friends.

May I also suggest:
1. Have a way for us to make donations.
2. Allow us to make virtual offerings, for example, for a certain amount, the online store owner can make offerings (e.g. candle, flower, etc) for us on your altar (or the Thailand chapel)

I greatly support the idea of an online shop. It’ll make it more convenient for people looking for DS items as it is very difficult to get due to the current ban.
I can’t wait for the launch of this website. Thank you very much for the team behind this for all their effort and time spend in spreading DS practice to many.

I must applaude you guys behind Dorjeshugden.com, you always come out with innovative ideas, first is the brochures, then the illustrations followed by the comic book in English, Chinese,Thai and nepali, and now you guys are thinking of an online store, what briliant idea it is.

Great idea. I am dying to get statues, pendants, prayer book, DS Dharma text. Basically all about DS. It is very difficult to find any of these items anywhere reliable. I would certainly support it. Great as gifts for family and friends; Dharmic or not. Can create imprints in their minds and the best protector for me to give help to friends/people in need.

I would think that if dorjeshugden.com is doing this website, it will fulfill a lot of demands, just that it needs to advertise itself so that people around the world will know that there is a online store.
BTW, now Facebook has "pay-per-like" scheme, where you can setup a Facebook fan page about this online shop, and you will only need to pay them if the visitor "like" your fan page.

What a wonderful idea!! I've been wanting some DS items for a long time, but haven't been able to find any online, so I rely on this website's downloadable items to aid me in my practise, prayers and visulisation. If an online shop comes about, I'd be able to purchase thangkas, pendants, the comic book directly!!..oh my, I can't wait!
Thank you, dorjeshugden.com, for continuously thinking of new ways to spread DS to your website readers and practitioners! Being able to purchase items, I will be able to give it to my friends and families and share the King with them too. That will be my greatest gift to them! I'd love to walk around wearing a DS pendant to bless the surroundings and all who are fortunate enough to see the pendant!

As what Kris said about advertising, since this is the most comprehensive website on Dorje Shugden (to the extent of my knowledge) available, i don't think that there will be much problems in this, as most people who are interested in the King will come here to get their news and read hence learn about the online store. I think what we would have to do is promote DS and this website more, no?

I am not referring to people who already know Dorje Shugden because those who know about Him, many of them know about this website.
I am referring to people who does not know who is the King Dorje Shugden yet. If they don't know who is He, most likely they will not come to this website, as such, I felt the owner of this website need to do proactive advertisement, may be with catchy tag lines or something, so that people will know about Him.
I personally like to see Him appear on Facebook ads.. hehehe...

Lol, facebook ads would be an excellent way to reach mass people.. Any ideas of catchy taglines that we could suggest to help the admins of this website??
Just a few suggestions:
1. The easiest way to have all your wishes fulfilled
2. Do you want more wealth and more security?
3. Let Dorje Shugden guide you to your bucket of wealth.
(yes, I've based it all on wealth and having wishes fulfilled, because I guess what everyone wants these days are things that will benefit themselves. :))

My top three would be:
1. pendant (so that i can wear Dorje Shugden on me always!)
2. statue (because i would be able to have him on my altar. Right now I have a photo of him which i printed out from this site but a statue would be really way cool!)
3. thangka (provided it's not too pricy. I would love to have a Dorje Shugden thangka as a backdrop to my altar too!)

My top three choices would be:
1) Statue - There are hardly any shops selling DS statues
2) Tsa Tsa - More affordable and doesn't take up too much space
3) Pendants - Can wear all the time
To reach out to the masses of people who do not know Dorje Shugden, it will be good if we can purchase brochures in bulk at a reasonable price to distribute to them instead of downloading and print out from this website.
