Wooooow your friend's hand-carved statue is so beautiful!!! Hahaha and its cute the part where the lion looks like its looking at DS directly. :) It's amazing that it's hand made your friend is really skilled. Should make more and sell them to DS practitioners privately. Help the less fortunate ones who can't get DS at where they are.

I have a small tsatsa would love to share with you guys soon! :)

So much skill and effort put into the wooden statue Dorje Shugden, shows a lot of loyalty and devotion to Dorje Shugden. People who engage in Dorje Shugden are highly skilled and talented.

Dorje Shugden, this name simply sends down shivers down my spine whenever my teacher mentions it in his teachings and commentaries. To me, he is none other than great Chenresig. If you think about it, he's been so patient with us all this while and has so much compassion for all the people around him regardless if they have faith in him or not. He arose to protect Je Lama's teachings and that's EXACTLY what he is doing now even as I type these words. Where else can you find such a loving protector during this time of need? I'm sure there is but with all the contraversies surrounding His existence, He is able to show DISTINCT PRACTICE of the Lojong teachings.

I'm sure He's also Manjushri who is capable of blessing those who propitiate him sincerely with wisdom, open minded hearts, CREATIVITY in every sense! In return for devotion, it only makes sense that Lord Shugden bestows you with blessings in order to be able to benefit many. I'm sure this wooden statue is not the only image we will see touching people's hearts in the presence of their place of worship.

I pray to the Divine Buddha Dorje Shugden that many other sacred images of his lineage, doctrine and presence arise to give benefit to people in need!

How beautifully said and ever so true. Rejoice in all the beautiful sacred creations from past, present and to the future. May there be a million more... more who are inspired to create, inspired to practice and inspired to spread our beloved precious protector of our time  ;)

We have the luxury of everyday convenience such as air condition and fast internet and etc, while at the same time, the monks in Shar Gaden are suffering from travel document and basic supplies etc.

While the monks are suffering and holding up the practices for us, we MUST do our part in helping them. We need to do what we can to inform the world that they are being ill-treated, and indeed, CTA has mistreated them.

And all we need to do, is not about going to the street to protest. Instead, we can help in the comfort of air condition and a cup of coffee.. and the way is through SOCIAL MEDIA!!!

With social media, we should inform the rest of the world what has actually happened and get the ban lifted.

Please join their Facebook fan page and help to lift the ban: https://www.facebook.com/DuldzinDorjeShugden (https://www.facebook.com/DuldzinDorjeShugden)

Saw this outdoor shrine (top picture) while on holiday in Asia last year. I have shared it here for all to see. Look closely and zoom in just below the four-faced Buddha. Look who is there? People have also offered flower garland offerings to Dorje Shugden. I rejoice when I spot something like this and I know this WILL be the norm when the ban lifts.

Meanwhile we must all do our bit to help in lifting this ban through the best way forward… which is educating and information. Hence Kris, you are very right, one of the most effective ways is via social media these days. Dorje Shugden HAS to go viral so everyone can benefit. Let it be so, let it be so, let it be so!

There were also these posters (bottom picture) all around the busy areas of this popular asian city!!!

LOL good suggestion !

I used to feel alone in practicing DS and I was afraid to share with people whom I know and I don't know. Until I found his website and especially this forum.

I know there are many of us 'in hiding'   ;D :P ;) but this is our SPACE and we are free to discuss issues, debate, and ost importantly we know in times of doubts and sadness, there are people out there whom we could rely on for emotional support, which in most cases, all that we need to carry on this journey.

Thank you all for the participation thus far n let's us pray hard and do whatever we possibly could to lift the ban !

I think that there are far more Dorje Shugden practitioners out there than what the CTA wants to believe and the general public would want to believe. However not many of them are internet savvy or that they are aware that there is this movement online that promotes Dorje Shugden. Thus, it is very important that we band together and raise awareness via the brochures.

this website is the glue that holds all of the rest of the Dorje Shugden practitioners in the world who happens to speak english and this is also the definitive website for all information that is related to Dorje Shugden. In Buddhist practice, having a community is important as we all need support as we progress through the path and this website and forum provides just that and so much more.

Gangchen Rinpoche practices and teaches Dorje Shugden openly and he has no doubt, many students around the world, being the great being he is and they are all Dorje Shugden practitioners that do their practices quietly without raising much attention to themselves and has since built up a huge ladrang for their Guru both in italy and in Nepal. How devotional!

Jamsehg Rinpoche, one of Serkong Dorjechang students, is making it really huge in Taiwan and other chinese speaking countries/regions around the area and he has gigantic temples in Tibet and Taiwan as well. The following of his organization could very well rival those of NKT and FPMT, but we of the english speaking world are not aware of that due to our language barriers. So DS practitioners are not and never alone!

Hi Ensapa, I agree with you. I am sure there are far more Dorje Shugden practitioners too. Just because we don't like to cause trouble out there does not mean we do not exist. Practicing a religion does not entail us to show off anyway.

Besides, for something to grow it just needs one person or a small group to start. Everything starts that way. So why different for Religion. I have heard of people saying there are not many Masters out there practicing and spreading the cause of Dorje Shugden. Well, there may be or may not be, I can't be sure myself but it does not mean Dorje Shugden's practice is not growing.

Many things are common sense to the max but some people are just too ignorant and blinded by no one but themselves. Everyone should be given a choice to practice whatever they think suits them best. For me, it is definitely the great King Protector, Dorje Shugden.

For those who THINKS Dorje Shugden is not growing, just because we can't see the progress of growth does not mean it isn't growing. COMMON SENSE.

It's more like even though there are not that many posters here in this forum, it does not mean that Dorje Shugden practitioners are ever alone as they have the protector to guide them and also to help them find a suitable community, a suitable teacher and to provide them with the suitable conditions, that is if they were sincere in requesting for Dorje Shugden's help. After all, Dorje Shugden is an enlightened being and he can see what exactly that the practitioner needs, and provide it for them, be it a Lama with the complete and proper lineage, challenges to help the practitioner grow and measure his or her sincerity, and to help the practitioner develop further with their Dharma practice and also to progress on their path.

It is better and more meaningful to develop as real practitioners with real results and attainments, who are better people and who have removed or at least minimized to a high degree, their selfishness and their tendencies to harm others, be more kind, compassionate, and at peace with themselves and others, as practitioners who manifest these will attract more people to come to the Dharma as people who see them would also want to be like them and find their secret, and them join the Dharma. This is how the Buddha attracted his followers 2500 years ago, and this is how it will be now.

Even with that, even though other Dorje Shugden practitioners are not as loud as NKT, they are still doing their part in their Dharma practice, and they are still garnering followers quietly, but surely, as they lead by their example as opposed to leading by popularity and indoctrination. Which method attracts the better practitioners? Of course it will be those who was inspired into the Dharma by practice and not by indoctrination or by popularity. In the end, Dorje Shugden practitioners who progress swiftly in the path will be the best practitioners of them all, complete with all the qualities, thanks to Dorje Shugden's blessings.
