I found these videos to be inspiring and beautiful. Wonderful to share with our dharma friends and fellow Dorje Shugden devotees.

TRIJANG RINPOCHE'S SAMPHELING MONASTERY IN CHATRENG, TIBET - PART 1

Interview with a very senior Scholar and meditation master of Chatreng Monastery Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Chojin of Chatreng Sampheling Monastery. He speaks passionately about following the instructions of one's root lama, in this case Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang and his views about Gyalchen Dorje Shugden. He also said it is important to have a genuine guru who can explain the Dharma and guide us on the spiritual path. He only believes in his root Guru and the Protector no matter what others say.

He also elaborated about how the Dalai Lama was escorted out of Tibet by Chatreng lamas and people through the instruction of Trijang Rinpoche who was advised by Dorje Shudgen during that critical period. Also how some the Chatreng monks gave their lives in a fight with the Chinese protecting the Dalai Lama. Trijang Rinpoche handpicked monks from Chatreng Monastery to escort Dalai Lama out of Tibet at the time.

TRIJANG RINPOCHE'S SAMPHELING MONASTERY IN CHATRENG, TIBET - PART 2

An interview with Abbot Emeritus Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Tharlam of Chatreng Sampheling Monastery. A moving account of how he consulted Dorje Shugden about his Geshe Degree and listened to Dorje Shugden's advice throughout his life. Everything went well as he followed the Dorje Shugden's advice all the way. He also related how the monks and lay practitioners were helped by Dorje Shugden constantly.

TRIJANG RINPOCHE'S SAMPHELING MONASTERY IN CHATRENG, TIBET - PART 3

An interview with Ajeka of Sampheling Monastery. He spoke about making much efforts in the past 20 years building the Sampheling monastery and that the people of Chatreng are working hard to protect their Guru Trijang Dorje Chang and also preserve the Dorje Shugden tradition. He also commented he saw that when High Gelug lamas give Dorje Shugden initiation, 80,000 people came for the Dorje Shugden initiation. Ajeka worked for 20 years heading the project of building Sampheling Monastery or aka Chatreng Monastery in Chatreng, Tibet. This is the home monastery of His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche.

Wow! These are wonderful videos and I especially love the description of the Chatreng people and how devoted they are to their Guru, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. I love what a single man called Ajeka did to rebuild Chatreng monastery and on top of that, he is not even a monk.

What an incredible inspiration for the rest of us, Dorje Shugden practitioners. On top of that, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche in this lifetime (to my knowledge) have not even step foot in Chatreng and they did all this for him. I guess, it boils down to real Guru devotion and if we have that, we will be moved to do wondrous things with it. Hence, it gives us a good yardstick for us to tell how devoted we are to our Lama and lineage.

I also love the fact that the Chatreng people have tremendous faith in Dorje Shugden although they knew so little of his history and lineage. With so little knowledge, the people are indeed extremely devoted to their protector. I guess it is the blessings of Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche's presence and teachings in the past that molded the Chatreng people to be this loyal, devoted and incredibly blessed to be able to escort the Dalai Lama out of Tibet.

Thank you Tk for sharing these wonderful videos to inspire our faith and practice. I hope more Dorje Shugden practitioners from around the world watch these videos and be inspired as well.

If they know so little of the protectors history why not send them the comic in Tibetan so they can become familiar with Dorje Shugdens history and function ? :)

Thank you TK... I have actually seen the videos available from this very website but its great that you managed to compile them all with brilliant captions and shared this in a thread. Wonderful stuff!

Of the 3 interviews, the one that struck me the most was Ajeka's. How ONE man with tenacity and unfailing Guru devotion can do so much. Imagine if a Guru had students who were ALL of this mindset? Nothing would be impossible. And to cap it off, he does not even have his Guru with him physically. It is not like he is doing it to look good in front of the Guru. He does it because he cares and out of complete and utter devotion.

I fold my hands to such genuine and unflinching devotion. What a perfect example of the Dharma taking root in having practitioners give their all and focusing out to benefit others! Truly commendable and so inspiring!

What an apt reminder that Dorje Shugden activities, monasteries and Lama's will continue to grow and spread despite the Ban. Thanks for this inspiring reminder TK!

What I like about these videos is that it clearly shows that our protector's practice is Good and Correct because if it is not, why are there so many Highly Attained Lamas spreading Dorje Shugden? They cannot all be "WRONG" because if they are then HHDL is also "WRONG". So why should we follow HHDL discouragement of Dorje Shugden when He can be wrong? Makes no sense.

Ajeka's testimonial is definitely an inspiring one of how we as DS practitioners who are loyal toward our Guru and practice should be like. Working tirelessly in ensuring Dorje Shugden practice and tradition is well preserved and is spread to as many as possible, to benefit to as many as possible. Maybe there will be a 2nd huge statue of Dorje Shugden... one that is bigger then Sampheling monastery. The more the merrier.

These videos are inspirational! In fact, my favourite! One should not just view it for the sake of just viewing and discarding it just like that.  These videos shown how strong and unwavered devotion and faith of the Chatreng people towards their Guru and protector, Dorje Shugden.  Even though Chatreng people do not understand or have the knowledge on the lineage of DS, they still gave their all and faith to DS.

What strikes me most is their unwavered devotion and faith for they see results of their works.  Ajeka whom is not a even a monk see it thru to rebuild Chatreng monastery to preserve his Guru’s lineage and Protector practice!

Thank you TK for sharing them and hope many more practitioners would be inspired too.

Thank you TK for compiling the videos here.

I truly admire Ajeka's effort and everyone in Chatreng for preserving the lineage passed of by the previous Trijang Rinpoche. I am so amazed with the people's Guru devotion all these years. Can you imagine? What we see in the outside world is on 10% of the whole thing! Truly an eye opener. And the people there do what they can although there are controversies happening around the world. From all the videos, one thing is truly visible and strong is definitely Guru Devotion. Following everything that their Guru passed down from pure lineage.

Look at Abbot Emeritus Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Tharlam! Everything is from His 100% believe in the protector! No doubt or question! Full of humility as well.

Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Chojin also mentioned that HHDL have no prove in what He said about the protector. And the people of Chatreng followed Kyabje Trijang's instructions to lead HHDL out of Tibet also because Dorje Shugden said so!

Yes, this is very inspiring especially what Ajeka is doing. Below are some information about Ajeka:

Source from http://www.dorjeshugden.com/forum/index.php?topic=1969.0

Quote
Ajeka belongs to Sampheling Monastery in Chatreng. He is a lay person with a family. He should be in his 60s and he has devoted his whole life to the monastery. As most of us know, Sampheling Monastery is Trijang Rinpoche very own monastery.

Ajeka was a former County Head, and the former Minister of Transport in Chatreng. Despite being a layperson and having a family, Ajeka has also worked full-time for Sampheling for over 30 years without any salary. Ajeka himself does not even take any food from the monastery, he brings his own food everyday.

As a student of the previous Trijang Rinpoche, Ajeka carries on his Teacher's work. He was entirely in charge of building the new Sampheling which houses the fantastic HUGE 33 meter Tsongkapa statue as you can see from the picture attached. Hand-built by devoted people of Chatreng, they have also offered their jewellery and other precious items to be inserted into this statue. Upon its completion, it will be the tallest Tsongkhapa statue in the world.

He oversaw everything from fundraising to the construction of building the new Sampheling Monastery including the statues.

During the construction of the new Sampheling, Ajeka on his own organised 2000+ volunteers on a daily basis to build statues and work in the monastery.

Ajeka is very highly respected in Chatreng, for his devotion to his Teacher, Protector and the Dharma. His dedication is so apparent through his works, and the way in which he has spent his whole life serving the Dharma. Ajeka is an inspiring example of a person who does not need to wear robes in order to command respect - in Chatreng, Ajeka is a layperson who is treated with the same respect as a high lama. The people are well aware of his devotion and dedication towards his Teacher.

He is not even a monk, but he ‘sacrifices’ all his personal time and own luxury enjoyment to devote himself to build the monastery, his guru devotion is so strong, he can just do anything for Trijang Rinpoche without any hesitation, and not only that, he can use his own network of people to put their hands together to built a holy place for people to practice.

Even so many rumours going on outside about Dorje Shugden, but the Lamas in Chatreng did not take all these in heart or making them fade away from Trijang Rinpoche or Dorje Shugden, they trust their guru 100% with not even a single doubt, how strong their faith is to their guru and they go all the way for their Dharma practice.

Thank you TK for sharing this video, hope this message reach to more people.

Thank you for sharing such informative videos!

I have some thoughts after wathcing the interview with Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Chojin of Chatreng Sampheling Monastery.. Since the people in Chatreng are very "pure", they believed in the Guru and lineage (protector) all the way, and that makes their practice very straightforward...

However, for people like us, with all the internet and temptations, we tend to have a lot of doubts towards the protector. I think it is due to our bad karma that we cannot just trust our Guru and go 100% of what our Guru said.

Therefore, it is important that we learn a lot of knowledge instead of just pure faith. That's why I like this forum because it provides me with a lot of the needed information to answer questions which my friends asked me when I tell them about the protector.

Yes, like what Kensur Rinpoche said, we should work very hard to lift the ban!! There is no easy way but to devote our

First of All, thank you TK for posting these videos.  It’s amazing I have tried to watch these videos since several days ago, but something always went wrong.  Even my internet modem need to be resetted 3 times in the past three days and then the connection became extremely slow.  Only today, I am able to watch all these videos smoothly (after many attempts).  I hope many negative karma are being purified in these attempts.

The followings are what I learned from the videos:
-   To believe in your lama, lineage, and protector no matter what

I admire the devotion of Chatreng people to Trijang Rinpoche.  When I read Trijang Rinpoche’s biography, during his first visit to Chatreng, he encountered a lot of challenges such as: some individuals in Chatreng doubted that he is the true incarnation of the previous Gaden Tripa, they refused to listen to him, etc.  Afterward, due to Trijang Rinpoche’s tireless effort to tame them, they repented their previous mistakes.  Since then, Chatreng people are very loyal and fierce in their Guru Devotion towards Trijang Rinpoche.  The videos provided enough evidence.  I was touched when I watched about the story of how selected Chatreng people escorted HHDL from Tibet to India.  They were willing to sacrifice their lives for their Lama.  And Kensur Rinpoche Lobsang Chojin of Chatreng Sampheling Monastery made it clear that it is Trijang Rinpoche’s instruction that they were following and not HHDL.  I will follow my Lama’s instructions no matter what other people say.

-   Only believing is not enough. Correct understanding is necessary

Some practitioners believe in DS only because their Lamas says that DS is good.  This type of faith is vulnerable.  The minute they hear others said DS is bad or is a spirit, they will have doubt because they do not have correct understanding to refute these negative claims.  Thus, DS practitioners are encouraged to continuously investigate and to strengthen their faith.

-   Promoting DS = promoting Lama Tsongkhapa lineage and teachings

When I heard Kyabje Zong Rinpoche’s explanation, and the relationship between DS and Lama Tsongkhapa lineage, suddenly it hit my mind that to promote and spread DS means to promote and spread Lama Tsongkhapa teachings because DS is a unique protector who vowed to protect Lama Tsongkhapa’s teaching.  When I was introduced to DS for the first time, one thing that attracted me to him is the fact Duldzin Dragpa Gyaltsen agreed to arise an uncommon protector to protect Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings.  Only today when I heard Zong Rinpoche’s explanation that the connection become obvious to me that to spread DS is to spread Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings.  I think this cause is very precious.

these videos are a wonderful testament to the world that Dorje Shugden's practice is alive and kicking! And now we're growing too! These heart warming videos reaffirms the faith and devotion I have for my Lineage Lamas, the great Manjunatha Tsongkhapa and of course our lord protector Dorje Shugden.

Love Shugden - It's no longer a dream
When I watched the videos of the monasteries in Chatreng, I wished so much I was there. People who practice there are so calm and focused in the things they do! It is like a wish come true to be able to practice Dorje Shugden out in the open and what more, the entire township is doing it! WOW! Here where I live, if you utter the D**** S****** word out within the Buddhist community, it would seem like you just got AIDS or leprosy instantly and people would just quit being your friend on FACEBOOK!

It sure is a dream come true over there alright and they don't call Tibet the land of the Gods for nothin', they really exist there! Dorje Shugden is ALIVE!!!!

Love all Lamas - They aint God but they sure know how to poke your buttons to Enlightenment
The story of Ajeka is as if that of a class 'A' student in Lord Aryashura's class on Guru Devotion. Ajeka would prolly have won first class honors with a khata wrapped warmly around his neck!

Jokes  aside, this man really speaks volumes about his practice and the amount of seriousness in his practice can really bring you down to earth kind. In  modern day times when the practice of humility and putting the Guru before ourselves is the greatest challenge we experience. Yet, with due respect to this man and his Lama, he has lived to his words. And I do believe in one thing, when we take good care  of the Dharma(in this case Ajeka works in preserving the monastery and lineage) the Dharma will protect us. Ajeka would have sought much hardship in maintaining his own household but I think with this sort of devotion, the rest can just fall into place easily.

Thank you TK for posting this. It really warms my soul and it pushed me to work harder to make my Lama's vision of benefit come true.

Dorje Shugden i believe is still strong and vibrant in Tibet, this then helps the spread in Doje Shugden to the bordering parts of China and so forth. In certain parts of Tibet like Chatreng the buddha dharma is being followed and adhered through the practice of guru devotion and study of the Dharma is an inspiration to the rest of Tibet. Even a small source of light brightens a room, and dispels darkness, this is how Tibet is to China. China now is swimming in materialism so China having Tibet as part of this great nation just serves to create the foundation to the spread of buddha dharma in China once again.

Look there is no immolation in the part of Tibet where the Dharma is strong like Chatreng, definitely not from the monks of the practitioners who are Gelugs and rely on Dorje Shugden, they know the Buddha Dharma that whatever is happening to them now is not something random but due to the laws of karma. So why immolate. In the parts of Tibet whereby the Tibetans have swallowed the 'poison' of CTA  hen more immolations will happen more and more. Hence how can CTA be a source of moral and ethical leadership for the Tibetans?

So why immolate. In the parts of Tibet whereby the Tibetans have swallowed the 'poison' of CTA  hen more immolations will happen more and more. Hence how can CTA be a source of moral and ethical leadership for the Tibetans?

It's interesting you say this Dharma Space. Do you think that the CTA are behind the immolations then?

It wouldn't be surprising that you thought so, considering how relatively silent the CTA have been on the issue... or making martyrs out of these people who are portrayed as being such devoted sacrificial lambs. In reality, they make themselves even more of a thorn in China's side for causing more unrest in their country!

Unfortunately, the sad reality is that while the Tibetans have portrayed themselves as being such victims, on the larger scheme of things, they appear to be causing far more trouble than the Chinese. There's far more evidence to show that the China government are being much more supportive of the Dharma and tibetan welfare than the CTA are to to their exiled community. I have even heard that there are far fewer Tibetans leaving Tibet now to go to India; the intake in Tibetan monasteries is far less now and these monasteries are even concerned that their populations are not growing.

So which way seems to be working out better? It certainly seems that the Dharma institutions in the heart of China are doing far better than what the CTA could ever purport of their exiled communities, no thanks to the CTA's flagging support.
