Powerful rituals done by powerful Tulkus. What a superb example of a lionheart, devotion to his lama, and not backing down due to political pressures. His Eminence Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche is a powerful incarnation recognized by the previous Panchen Lama as a unmistaken incarnation of the abbot of Taship Lunpo.

I have always felt a huge respect for Gangchen Rinpoche - he really represents world peace in all his actions and deeds. He is also accepted in China and the Chinese need the Dharma so much. How fortunate for the Chinese that such a powerful Lama has skilfully presented himself in a way that is accepted there - and that he of course is a Dorje Shugden practitioner and can spread Dorje Shugden's practice to the Chinese.

I totally respect and admire what gangchen rinpoche does for the cause of world peace. He has set up a peace press, peace publications, world peace foundation, world peace congress, has done great work for the United Nations and travels all over the word blessing places and calming locations to avert the worst of disasters.
This is my favourite image of gangchen rinpoche, which is still hanging on the wall of his ladrang in nepal.

Meeting Gangchen Rinpoche would be meeting a modern day Mahasiddha. He looks so powerful just from his picture alone.

Gangchen Rinpoche not only works tirelessly spreading the world peace message over the world, he is also well known for his healing power. Great Tulkus like him benefits so many people in spite of all the red tapes. That already speaks loud what a true DS practitioner does.
I for sure admire Gangchen Rinpoche and hope to have the good fortune to meet him one day.

I really really really like Gangchen Rinpoche. There is something about him that I'm hugely attracted to, and I don't see how people would ever find any fault with him. We are highly fortunate to have someone like him walk our Earth today.
He does so much work on a humanitarian and spiritual basis.
As a Dorje Shugden practitioner, I respect how he never gave up his practice and instead spread it all over the world... OPENLY.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Gangchen Rinpoche's people behind this website :p. That would be pretty cool!
I deeply wish to be able to meet him one day. :)

High Lamas like Gangchen Rinpoche sure radiates much tantric energy when they are conducting rituals. Look like it was a fire puja that he was doing in the picture shared from Thor.

Gangchen Rinpoche is such a powerful and accomplished Tantric master. I love his courage to openly practice Dorje Shugden and I believe he is one of the earliest masters to do this and never once said anything bad against the Dalai Lama. It is always a joy to see him. Yes, Thor, do load a higher-res images. That would be nice.

Gangchen Rinpoche is awe inspiring.
And this is not because He practices Dorje Shugden so openly BUT because no matter how many people condemned him, the TGIE hunt him, send death threats at him and basically trying to find ways to kill him or wipe him out... He never once criticised the H.H. the Dalai Lama...In fact I never once heard him say anything negative. :o
This to me is a clear sign of a highly attained being and a real GURU one can for sure follow!
Gangchen Rinpoche remains strong, a BRAVE HEART and ever more inspiring, spreading world PEACE, HARMONY and HEALING to the world. Meeting Rinpoche was like meeting a living walking Medicine Buddha. We are so fortunate to have such illustrious masters around us to it really does give us all much STRENGTH and HOPE!

Beautiful pictures. I admire and respect Gangchen Rinpoche for the work he has accomplished -spreading love, harmony and peace as well as healing all over the world. He is not bothered by what others say about him, and like a fearless lion, he practices Dorje Shugden openly.

I have never met Gangchen Rinpoche, but one look sent shivers down my spine. He really radiates energy just from looks alone. Its not like looking at a beautiful person, or some famous superstar.
Its something different, alien, yet positive. Searched youtube and found this chanting which I leave on repeat while surfing the internet sometimes.

I heard about Gangchen Rinpoche a year ago. I did not realize his achievement until recently, pardon my ignorant. He has accomplished so so much and still doing and growing. Amazing a person can do so much, spreading dharma in every way, everywhere, every parts of the world. It would be most blessed to be able to meet Gangchen Rinpoche someday if my merits allow me so. So rare and precious, a modern wonderful Mahasiddha.

I have read a bit about Ganngchen Rinpoche, he is really a great being. Being recognized at early age to be a reincarnate Lama healer & enthroned at the age of 5.
He is also a disciple of H.H Trijang Rnpoche. After graduation he worked as a Lama healer which saved the lives of many people.
Such a great being travelled everywhere and continuously giving teaching and helping people.
I agree with you Barzin, It’s really an honor and our great mert if we could able to meet this Great Mahasiddha Gangchen Rinpoche someday.

I have the honour and privilege to travel with Gangchen Rinpoche and his entourage to India and Gaden Monastery a few years ago. I have also seen how he had healed people around the world. He is an accomplished tantric master. Those pictures of Rinpoche are indeed inspiring, powerful and beautiful. I simply love them. :-*

Indeed Gangchen Rinpoche is a great lama of this age.
I have the great fortune to visit his ladrang in Nepal and also witnessed some of the works he is doing there. Gangchen Rinpoche has raised funds single handedly and built a compound for the nepalnese children, with school, clinic, and even carpet and incense factories to generate funds to substain his works there.
The compound where he wanted to have these to be built initially has no water source, I heard that Gangchen Rinpoche did some prayer and mantra and when he finished it , where he was standing, a water sprout came up.....it was almost like a miracle and people were very surprised as well as happy.
This is just one of the extraordinary works of Gangchen Rinpoche.....

All the high Lamas seem to possess such a powerful energy around them. You can feel it when they walk into the room, they have such strong presence. Even their photographs emit a sense of force that is inexplicable.
Gangchen Rinpoche is one of the most charismatic Lamas I have seen. Rinpoche does so much great work to promote healing through Tibetan Buddhism and preserving the tradition of Tibetan medicine and healing. If politics were not politics, Rinpoche would be doing so much for the whole Tibetan community in exile.
I am very happy that the Chinese welcomes Rinpoche and that is one of the many ways Dharma will spread in China.

I've also heard from a close student of a tibetan lama that Gangchen Rinpoche was involved in the construction of Borobudur. Isn't that amazing. One of the most sought after tourism sights has a direct link to Gangchen Rinpoche !!! Wow!!

Thank you everyone for sharing your views and pictures. It is always great to hear what the Lamas have accomplished, who they are, their work, and the reach and influence of their Dharma activity. Gangchen Rinpoche is no exception of course, especially with long-standing endorsement from the United Nations.
There has also been "bad" press about Gangchen Rinpoche, because of the Dorje Shugden issue. Mainly, it is anti-DS supporters and people of the TGIE. Amazing and terrible that even a master so great can have haters and such bad publicity.
So, this is important I think: we must check out the lamas ourselves. It is very good to read what others have to say about each teacher - there will be lots of good and lots of bad and if we are to be swayed by what people are saying on either side, we will never find a teacher and we will never be firm with anyone. Ssee what the teachers have done, attend or read their teachings if you can, speak directly to their students (and don't rely on hearsay). Ask questions and find out whatever you can. If you have doubts or uncertainties, try to clear them by asking the right questions. Find out for yourself if a teacher is good for you or not. Sometimes it could be that the teacher is highly praised and a wonderful teacher, but just not the right one FOR YOU, or you can't click with or you feel you can't relate to. Remain respectful always, of course, even if you can't really connect to a particular teacher, but you don't have to accept him as your teacher. Accepting someone as your teacher JUST BECAUSE many people say he is great is also not quite correct because it may not be what YOU need at this time.
This process of choosing a teacher is a delicate one and the process of checking is just as important as accepting a teacher. So please read the books on Guru devotion - and what it means to choose someone as your teacher.
Lastly, even if you don't choose to take someone as your teacher, it is always great to rejoice in the works of great teachers like Gangchen Rinpoche and find inspiration and strength for your own practice. Thank you again everyone for your sharings. I enjoy these threads about the lamas very much.

I have always admired H.E Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche and I'm dying to see His Eminence (if only I had the merits). I have heard wonderful and amazing stories about His miraculous powers, and all the things He has His Eminence has done for massive amount of people, good things of course, things that have benefited the peoples' lives.

Gangchen Rinpoche is truly an inspiration to all by practicing such sacred teachings during this really tough period. I rejoice that there are Lamas who are willing to stand up for their faith and practice as they wish as it benefits so many people. This picture of him is extremely beautiful and holy and should be given out as an example that Dorje Shugden is a protector that can and should be practiced. If such a high lama such as Gangchen Rinpoche can do it, why can't you?
