Title: Geshe Tsultrim Gyaltsen
Post by: GreatWheel on April 04, 2009, 04:03:00 AM
Since Ven. Geshe Tsultrim's passing isnt it appropriate to list him on the 'great masters' page?
Or did he actually denounce the practice?
From what I heard he did not.
Or is it risky to do such a thing..for the sake of his reputation?

I was a student of Geshe-la's for a few years while living in L.A.
He was a very conservative lama who never talked about the practice.
However, he was a monk from Ganden Shartse who was very close to Zong Rinpoche and other masters of our precious lineage. In my heart, I always felt that he had a deep relationship with our protector, but I have no way of knowing for sure.
I am not sure if any of his western students knew what his personal practices were.
He NEVER spoke out against the practice, that much I do know.

There is no doubt that this master has practiced Dorje Shugden for most of his life.

His close students have attested to it. He had a very beautiful thangka of Dorje Shugden in his bedroom for many years.
