Here is a brief history of the area. In 1951, three and a half years after the British has left the subcontinent and gifted the natives in the subcontinent a country that we now called India, the new Indian government, as a proud British Raj wannabe, continue the expansionist policy of the Raj and invaded and annexed Tawang, South Tibet and occupy it to this day. Tawang is the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to a four hundred years old Tibetan monastery. The area is undisputedly historic Tibetan homeland.
In 1987 India renamed South Tibet to the so called Arunachal Pradesh and made it a state. Both Chinese governments, the Chinese Communist Party in mainland China (PRC) and the Nationalist party in Taiwan (ROC) vehemently denounce India’s land grab. Recently the congress of India unilaterally pass the establishment of the ‘Arunachal Pradesh’ on the south of the so called McMahon Line. India government also made it into a state, the government of the Republic of China once again solemnly proclaim: the government of India intend to legitimize its illegal occupation of the territory of China, the government of the Republic of China regards this as illegal, void and absolutely not recognized.”

Today occupied South Tibet (so called Arunachal Pradesh) is restless and India knows it and this is the reason AFSPA (Armed Force Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity and is a tool to intimidate the locals and suppress dissent. AFSPA is imposed on area India deemed ‘disturbed’, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. Under AFSPA rape of Tibetan girls and women by Indian jawans, which is rampant, is not recognized as a crime.​ A couple of years ago another rape incident causes a massive demonstration in Bomdila, South Tibet that even prompt the then Indian defense minister to fly in and personally deliver a stern warning to the locals to behave themselves or risk ending up in jail.

The reason is very simple, CTA does not give people the confidence that they will work hard for their people or they are prepared to work hard to improve the living condition of their people. After so many scandals of the CTA are exposed, people know CTA is only after money and they don’t care about their own people.

Can you believe CTA actually glorify self-immolation? They want the Tibetans to self-immolate to show their love and loyalty to the Dalai Lama and Tibet. This is so twisted. Only their lives worth something, but not the normal Tibetans’ lives, how sad.

India is also showing their dislike with what the Tibetans are doing in India, which is the constant protest against China. This has caused distress to the relationship of India and China. For the sake of the Indian people and India, Indian government has decided not to be closely associated with the Tibetans. This can be seen from a leaked government document where Indian officials were told not to attend events organised by the CTA.

It is stupid for the Tibetans to put their hope in the CTA or Lobsang Sangay because they are not doing anything good for them. It is better to just leave the Tibetan community in India, either they go back to Tibet or migrate to other countries.

If we look at the living condition and situation in India, the Tibetans are still stateless, their future is very uncertain. Even if they are hard-working, there is not much opportunity available because they are refugees. The CTA is actually quite happy with their current situation because they can make use of the Tibetan’s plight to get donations without working hard.

Lobsang Sangay, on the other hand, is busy touring the world to get free money. He does not have the quality of a leader, what has he done ever since he became the leader of the Tibetan community. There is not much of progress and development in the Tibetan community. In fact, more Tibetans are leaving India now and almost no Tibetans are arriving in India from China.

The future for the Tibetans in the exile community is very uncertain. If China is so generous to open its door to allow Tibetans to go back, they should not miss this opportunity. China will rule the word soon, the future is brighter and better in China.

The CTA, on the other hand, is only capable of creating conflicts in the Tibetan community. They want the Tibetans to remain as refugees and fail to give a direction to the Tibetans. The future of the Tibetans is very uncertain and shaky. However, the CTA just doesn’t care.

The living condition in Tibet is so much better than in India and there is so much more opportunity. Now the Dalai Lama is asking the Tibetans to go back to China, it must be that he is also losing hope in the CTA. He is telling the Tibetans instead of relying on the CTA, they should just go back to Tibet on their own.

China has developed so fast for the past 30 years. From a country that was closed to visitors to now the biggest economy in the world, it is amazing how they can achieve that in just 30 over years. They have proven themselves to be a very effective and efficient government. Besides that, the Chinese government is very fair to every Chinese citizen regardless of the ethnic group. Everyone is given the same opportunity in terms of education, career, etc.

The Chinese government has invested a lot in Tibet to build modern infrastructures and amenity. They have also invested a lot in the restoration of Buddhist monasteries and holy sites. Not only that, the poverty rate in Tibet has reduced tremendously. The CTA, on the other hand, is still struggling to fight for a cause that is not going to succeed and continue to exploit Tibetans for their own interest.

But for India and China, they see it does not make sense that after 60 years the Tibetans are still refugees and they are suffering. India cannot be hosting the Tibetans forever so they are very kind to offer citizenship to the Tibetans. China, on the other hand, also opens up its door for the Tibetans to go back.

Now, who actually cares about the Tibetans? The CTA or the Indian and Chinese government? It is so sad to see that the CTA does not care about the Tibetans and they are only exploiting the Tibetans for their own benefits. It was like this in the past, it is still like this now. If the Tibetans are wise, they should either apply for Indian citizenship or they should go back to China.

Reports also show that fewer Tibetans are arriving in India from China. The main reason is that the living standard and condition in Tibet have improved so much compared to 60 years ago and there are so many opportunities in Tibet. The Chinese government gives the Tibetans freedom to practice Buddhism and also use their own language. It is now a more conducive environment to preserve the Tibetan culture than it is in India.

China has proven that they are a more efficient and effective government. They bring prosperity to the people and society. The CTA on the other hand, only bring prosperity to themselves and continue to exploit the Tibetans for their own benefits. With the same old way of running their government, the CTA is definitely is going down.

Sharmapa Rinpoche is the highest authority in the Karma Kagyu after Karmapa. By age-old tradition, Sharmapa is the one that confirms the real incarnation of Karmapa. He recognized Thaye Dorje as the genuine Karmapa. But Dalai Lama endorsed Orgyen Trinley as the real Karmapa. Dalai Lama is a great lama but there has never been a tradition of him recognizing a Karmapa.

Both ‘Karmapas’ have big followings in and out of Tibet. So which one should we follow? We have to follow the genuine Karmapa. If we follow the fake one, we will get fake teachings, fake lineage and no results. We can even take rebirth in the lower realms.

Only the Tibetan leaders can tell us which is the real Karmapa. You have told us which one is the real Panchen Lama. We follow the Panchen of your choosing. Since then we have condemned China and condemned the fake Panchen Lama. Now it is the same situation with Karmapa. We have denounced the fake Karmapa and ask him to step down. He is destroying the Karma Kagyu Lineage.

This issue has torn the Karma Kagyu sect in half. There are many who are so confused and some gave up Tibetan Buddhism altogether because of this. We must solve the confusion. This does not look good for the Tibetan government in exile because the confusion was started by Tibetan government. I support Dalai Lama and Tibetan government. But so many of us need to know the real Karmapa already. Don’t remain silent. Which one is the real Karmapa.

Tibetan government in exile, you have created two Gelugs (Pro-Dorje Shugden and against), you have created two Panchen Rinpoches, two Karmapas, two Dromo Geshe Rinpoches, two Kundeling Rinpoches and so on. When are you going to solve all the confusion. You are destroying Tibetan Buddhism.
