I can't imagine being in a situation whereby one of your guru practices and the other doesn't. What would you do? So many high lamas of the Gelug lineage has been suppressed/oppressed and even expelled from their monastery as in the case of the Ex-Abbot of Gyume. Yet, Dorje Shugden monasteries are springing up all over the world, just like how Shar Gaden manifested. These monasteries need funding as they have been cut off all support from their original monastery. They are on their own...but not alone as Dorje Shugden will help. This is politics and not religious practice with Compassion. This is also selfishness and with intent to torture and make people suffer for those who do not obey to the principals of the Government and the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama is supposed to have compassion and he being the Leader of the country and government can always put his foot down and say no to the Ban of Dorje Shugden practice unless he has a deeper reason. By saying no to the Ban he can thus give freedom to people to be able to practice Dorje Shugden and not be imprisoned behind the walls and be segregated like in prison. In the end it was brought down by the people themselves who never wanted the segregation. Maybe this will also happen to this wall. Everything is impermanent.
