This is a short, simple and clear explanation of tantra and the differences and similarities of sutra and tantra. Also, it occurs to me during the reading of this article as to why many Lamas has given mass initiations of the tantras even though there is no established Guru disciple relationship. Perhaps the answer lies in the heading "What happened during an initiation", that a receiver of the initiation that are not ready are actually not initiated but will get be implanted with instincts to listen to then Dharma and little else.
Still there is the problem of these initiates doing the tantric practice without guidance. Anybody can help with a good answer here?

What a profound explanation of Tantra that answer so many of my questions. I really like the part it list down the same contents of each sec but it actually the same concepts.

Tantra was so complicated for me as I thought only practitioners who achieve certain level could take on to practice, actually anyone can start on Tantra as long as you follow the right path.

I wish one day I will meet my Guru to lead me to the path of enlightenment! _/\_

Hinduism are not contained in the 3 principles of the Path like Renunciation, Enlightened attitude and right phylosiphy. There are 4 classes of Tantras Kriya Tantra taught by Buddha in form of a monk in the realm of the 33 gods on summit of Mount Meru. Pung Zang Tantras in the Realm of Vajrapani. Carya Tantra taught by Buddha in the form of the Celestial Realms. The Yoga Tantras taught by the Enlightened one in Central form of Central Deity of the Mandala like Yamantaka, Heruka, Guruyasamaja and Kalacharaka. These are the different types of Tanras as told by Trijang Rinpoche.

In this text, H.H. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche explains the relationship between sutrayana and tantra as well as their differences. He also mentions the three principal aspects of the path which are necessary to achieve enlightenment. The Gelug tradition emphasises the practice of the three higher trainings to accomplish what Lama Tsongkhapa termed "the final aim" in his epistolary poem to Tsakophopho.
